Investigation Report: Beth and Josh were very excited to hear when a paranormal team from out of town had offered a chance to allow the public to do a paranormal investigation in the old antique shop. Since they lived only a few miles away, this would be a lovely location close to home they could attend without worrying about how late they would be up to travel. There was a race going on at the nearby Jennerstown Speedway, so audio recordings for that night would be contaminated slightly, especially with all the added traffic which would travel past. However, they brought some handheld equipment of our own.
When they arrived, they were told to limit the use of personal equipment, so to respect the hosts, they avoided the use of personal tools. The lead investigator did permit some audio and photography. Everyone who was attending the investigation was split into two groups and guided by the host investigators.
Towards the end of the evening, both groups gathered near the stairs at the front entryway. Everyone was to sit or stand still while communications to spirit occurred. At one point, they have seen what looked like someone from above the stairs drop a marble. Nothing was said, other than the investigator in charge saying that one of the paranormal claims was that marbles would suddenly appear out of nowhere. Then, the owner of the business claimed to see a little girl in one of the rooms upstairs. No one was permitted to move, as people may scare him away. With the investigation completed, guests were allowed to take final photos before leaving.

Personal Paranormal Phenomena/Experiences: There were not many personal experiences while there that evening. We feel that the place may be haunted; however, the marble and little girl sighting is questionable. Some red flags came up as to if there might have been a hoax because of seeing the marble drop from a person in the group, and no one could personally see the little girl except the owner. (Note: After the investigation, we were contacted by another local team that went to do paranormal research there on May 12th, 2017, and said that they caught on camera the owners throwing marbles and moving teddy bears. We saw this video footage and determined that our questions of a hoax may have been confirmed. An article about the Hoax was later in the Daily American on May 22, 2018.)
